David Joshua Rios founded Creative Critical Thinking LLC in 2016, but the thinking behind it was shaped by more than a decade of hands-on work — training people, leading teams, and solving problems in real time across retail, hospitality, finance, and tech.

His path started at GameStop as a Game Advisor, then Apple, where he spent time as a Specialist in Valencia, California and later an Expert in Tigard, Oregon. In between, he worked as a Flight Attendant for United Airlines and a Personal Banker at U.S. Bank, and spent time as a Janitor at Westside: A Jesus Church in Portland.

The next chapter was Enjoy Technology, where he spent nearly four years growing from Expert to Lead Sales & Experience Expert to Regional Sales Trainer. That training instinct carried him to DAT Freight & Analytics as a Customer Success Supervisor, and today he works as a Tesla Advisor in Oregon.

Alongside all of it, he’s been building Creative Critical Thinking LLC since 2016, and earned his Associate of Science in Business Administration from Southern New Hampshire University in April 2026. He is now completing his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration at Southern New Hampshire University, expected November 2026.
